Hey Everyone,
We arrived in Accra, Ghana last night at 8:oo P.M. there time. The plane rides were good
although they were very long. As soon as we got off the plane we started to sweat. It was 90 degrees Fahrenheit and very humid. It is very different here as soon as they see you they swarm around you and try to sell you stuff. They charge you more because you are white.
Like today Cody bought a braclet with his name on it. At first they tried to get him to pay 10 cedis which is about 7 dollars American but he got them down to 2 cedis after he bought it Brother Arnold said he stilled paid too much for it. It is actually pretty nice out now because there is a little wind around here. This afternoon we might go and check the ocean out.
When you are walking cabs honk trying to get you to come in there ca they are everywhere.
As soon as you walk outg of a buildin people try to hail cabs down for you so you give them money they are very friendly about it thuoght. Today the came up to me and tried to give me a Ghana braclet for "free" Brother Arnold told me not to taake any thing that they say is free
because then they will try and make you fell obliged to give them money that is what happened to Cody.
Have A Good Day
